May 13, 2019 Mothers Day!

Hey everyone so this past week was awesome!  Happy Mothers Day to all you sweet Mothers!  

So to start off, we had to take 2 trips up to Watertown which was fun, spent the first one for pday then the second to pick up somethings we couldn't get on Monday, Tuesday we spent trying people in the outskirt towns while we were driving home from Watertown, but we did contact a few people in the rain and that was nice!  Wednesday we had exchanges with the Sioux Falls ZLs and that was a party, I got to go with Elder Olsen and we had a blast, we got to go out with a super solid member in his diesel powered GTI, it was straight piped so you could hear the turbo ahhh it was so sweet!  It was raining all day but I didnt mind, better than the heat!  We were able to contact a few less-active members and people who use to be taught.  Afterwards we contacted a referral and now they are teaching her!  So crazy thing, it started snowing while we were contacting people, we met this crazy Israelite who was cursed according to the Bible therefore he didnt want to claim religion even though he was very good with the Bible, he was a cool guy but yeah we had no idea what to say.  Thursday we had interviews with President Ence, it was awesome, I love being able to meet with all the missionaries and have a good time with President Ence!  Afterwards I had my first District Council that I conducted, holy crap Ive never been so scared and lucky me Im the only district in Sioux Falls that has sisters...  #nervous  we drove home and tried some part member families but had no luck but talked to a few of their neighbors.  Friday was a day of planning, we got the next district council just about done and weekly planned, we taught Terry again with Patrick (a member who is about to leave on his mission) and it was awesome, we retaught the restoration and it was powerful.  The rest of the day was finding.  Saturday we drove out to Hendricks MN with a member to help a inactive member move, lucky us, she was a cat lady.  good thing the apartment was only a 1 bedroom so we had it wrapped up within a hour or two.  The rest of the night was finding and dinner with a less active member.  Sunday Mothers Day!  Was pretty cool, all the talks were on the Plan of Salvation and one member compared it to a play, im not a big play person but it was pretty cool.  Afterwards we listened to a talk on the plan of salvation but it talked about football, that made much more sense haha.  We were able to meet with a part member family as well and that was pretty cool!  Well thats it for today!  Hope yall had a wonderful week!
