First off I want to say Happy Birthday to my older sister! Your so old! Anyways so this week has been sweet, to kick things off we taught a lady named Amber in our second area and we set her for baptism! She is super solid, she was taught a few years before but ended up calling off the missionaries, but now she wants to keep learning! Later in the week we ran a youth fireside to prep the youth for missionary work, it went pretty good, not my favorite thing to do but we got it done! We also had zone conference this past week and it was pretty good, we got 4 inches of snow that morning, a few mission cars got stuck going up the hill to the church building, so took about 6 Elders to get a car up the hill haha. We were taught about Repentance and planning, and got to watch a few safety trainings, repentance brings the spirit and when we have the spirit we are able to plan and make goals alongside the spirit therefore we are growing spiritually and stretching at the same time. Pretty good. We also had service at the food bank this week and it was fun, we got to bail cardboard and run the backpack line and make lunches for schools. We also got to take Brother Hall the member we live with to the Kanesville Tabernacle and finish the tour we started about a month ago. As we showed up they were closing the building, but lucky for us we got a quick tour that took about 45 mins lol. Elder Medley took us on our tour and was asking all sorts of questions and testifying to Brother Hall that he is so close to being able to enter into the Kingdom of God and what we are teaching him was all true, then at the end of our tour Brother Hall decided to tell him he was a recent convert of about 6 years. Elder Medley thought for sure he was being taught haha, it was good practice though. Sunday was crazy, we had to run to two church buildings to make sure people who were being taught were showing up, and they didnt:( It was rough but we ended up visiting them later in the day to find out they had sick families. Well thats about it for today, nothing too exciting yet. hope y'all have an exciting week!Elder Phelon
