August 12, 2019 Short and Sweet

This email will be short and sweet.  So this week wasnt very eventful, We had district council on Tuesday and the Zone Leaders taught it, super nice to have a week off for preparing.  We had exchanges with the Watertown Elders and it was super fun, I went with Elder Hales from American Fork (shout out to my AF homies aka Sorensons/Carters) We had a party, we went finding and Elder Hales got tripped up by some cute girls it was pretty funny welcome to the college town bud.  We were able to teach a dude about the Book of Mormon and he apparently is a Prophet.  He was telling us how he saw the future and was able to be avoid being arrested and all this other stuff, Elder Hales turned it into a teaching opportunity about Lehis visions and dreams he was having to guide him and his family then this dude dropped a bomb shell...  "Ive seen the ends of times"  ight bro you have a great night.  it was pretty funny but scary at the same time.  We drove back to Watertown to stay the night.  The next morning we wrapped up the exchange, did some finding in a retirement community then went back to Brookings.  The rest of the week we have been trying new ways to find through social media and online work, so far its worked on and off.  Saturday I got sick and had to run to the doctor to get checked for strep throat, but im clear and feeling much better.  We had Riggin, a random person living in Brookings come back to church again!  It was awesome.  Nothing too exciting this week folks.  Love yall
