July 15, 2019 There are seasoned missionaries... Then there is Elder Phelon

I couldnt think of a good subject, so I used a quote from Elder McDonald in Watertown.  So this week was pretty hyped, saw a ton of miracles and did a ton of work too.

Pday:  So we got some fresh hair cuts from our friends at great clips, we look dang good and Elder Bronson got a hard part!  I might be rubbing off on him a little bit haha.  The rest of the week was good, really weird weather, it rained and was humid and rained some more then got super hot.  We did a couple car fasts and met a ton of cool people!  Mostly college aged people, but it was super fun.  Later in the day we were finding on the south side of Brookings, it was hot and bugs were eating us alive, I was praying and praying we could just teach one person but we kept getting turned away or nobody would answer and finally...  MAJOR MIRACLE ALERT!!! We found Courtney!  it was so hype, we taught her the Restoration and shes already been to church and read out of the Book of Mormon!  so cool!  The Spirit was strong and we got a new person to teach!  The rest of the day nothing too exciting happened.  We showed up to a part member families house to see how they were doing, then boom dinner.  Thats was a miracle too since we dont get feed too often.  The middle of the week we went on exchanges with the Watertown elders in Watertown, it was awesome, I went with Elder McDonald and it was awesome.  We saw a ton of cool cars and people too!  Im not use to talking with old people anymore since Brookings is a college town.  We taught a handful of lessons, knocked a ton of doors and yeah did missionary work.  Friday we had Zone Conference, it was super good, Faith and works are necessary for missionary work but in order to achieve your goals you need to be diligent and exactly obedient!  It was really spiritual and uplifting.  We did a minute to win it competition, we didn't win but didnt lose to yeah.  We failed our car inspection because I turned our Chevy into a Ford by taking off the Chevy logo, Ford is from the Lord but we live in a Terrestrial setting therefore Chevys exist sadly.  The vehicle coordinator wasn't upset just got a good laugh, but asked for us to fix it... over the pulpit.  Saturday and Sunday we went ham, contacted a lot of people, street contacted, you name it we probably did it.  Terry came to church this week!  Members are starting to get more engaged with missionary work and they are visiting the people we are teaching which is super awesome, Terry really enjoyed it and wants to keep coming!  We found another dude from Ghana and taught him the Restoration too, that was hype as well.  another miracle, a unbaptized child called us and wants to be baptized on one condition...  We teach him during primary class so he doesn't have to go.  it was funny but thats it for today folks!  Enjoy pics of trucks and machinery!

Love you the most
