July 4, 2019 Happy Fourth of July!!

Silly rabbit, cars are for humans.  So turns out some animals got into the bumper of our car and saw some tasty wires, therefore our fog light had to be replaced and our car was in the shop for hours.  #chevyproblems.  This past week and a half has been a drag and also a sweet miracle.  

This last week we had meals for every night!!!  First time in this ward for a very very long time!  We got a ton of hard work done and were able to teach Terry about 3 times since we last talked!  He is going slow but progress is progress!  We taught him about fasting and prayer, to help him receive an answer wither or not the Book of Mormon is the word of God.  We did a ton of service this week as well!  We helped with loading food into cars and also setting up a charity yard sell, it was pushing mid 80s this week but the humidity kept bouncing from 74%-100%  It was so gross but I am grateful for cold showers.  We found a couple new people to teach just from walking around and knocking people who have been contacted by missionaries in the past.  It was awesome!  The sad thing is most of those people are gone for the next couple of weeks for vacations.  Church was good as usual.  We had a 5th Sunday with basically the whole ward, talking about finances, I got a personal shout out from our Bishop because I teased him about his 94 toyota corolla hatchback, no hub caps, gold paint and tinted windows lol.  Therefore its ok to drive an ugly car to save money.  We did exchanges with the ZLs from Sioux Falls, and it was really good, I got to go with Elder Holden and we had a party, things are hyped as we say it in South Dakota.  We did a ton of finding and utilized our new finding tools as well!  We taught Princess a new person we found and we helped her better understand how to find out if the Book of Mormon is really another testament of Christ.  Might of thrown some fire but it was all good.  Things are so good right now, besides the hot humid weather, but it seems to make the people of Brookings more happy so we will work with it!  Welp, hope everyone has a hype 4th of July, dont burn anything down and we will see you in a few days!
