June 3, 2019 LETS GOOOOOO!!!!

SO This week has been one of the most bumping weeks for the whole mission and its just getting started! 

This last Monday we taught a inactive family, and it was pretty great, that family has been coming to church ever since!!! Tuesday we were able to do a few hours of service which is always nice during the warmer weather, and we taught Terry!!  We went over the Plan of Salvation with a former Bishop, so we got a little more of the Doctrine side and Terry understood all of it!  Im excited to get Terry going, he is excited to here Elder Renlund come speak to our stake!  Recently we had a recent convert move into our ward from Alaska, he is so solid, we have been teaching him the new member lessons and he is super smart.  Our first meeting we talked about him starting school at SDSU and he is making tons of friends, but he was sure to tell us it was the friend friend not the partner friend because "he has nothing to offer"  says the guy who is about to get a PHD in mathematics lol.  We drove to Omaha with an old friend Elder Cloud, it was sweet to talk about Brookings with him and drive for 4 hours for a zone conference.  Elder Taylor, an area 70 and his wife came to speak to us and holy cow it was a spiritual feast!  it was like thanksgiving and you get stuffed no matter what but then they give you 2 more full plates of food, then dont forget desert, so we were all pretty exhausted but it was totally wicked!!!  We drove to Worthington right after conf. to do a baptism interview and it was once again super spiritual!  We stayed the night in Sioux Falls because of time and had a leadership zoom call the next day and President Ence is serious about business.  All the training's we have been given is a lot of hard work but he wants all of us to give it our all and work out all the bugs.  holy crap its been a busy week im so tired but things are great, enjoy pics!
