March 18, 2019 Floods and Quads

Hey everyone so Nebraska is underwater, things are getting crazy, everything is flooding, im in a quad and yeah.  so basically this past week ive gone on exchanges, almost got trapped in Fremont due to the flood, lost my car in the flood (its just sitting in a parking lot with a few inches of water under it), and a bunch of my stuff, lucky for us we got members that live in the boonies of Fremont, and they kept us busy until we got permission to drive though Lincoln then to Omaha.  We were able to do service at Salvation Army and we filled a quarter of a warehouse with water bottles on pallets, and another chunk was tools, and other supplies.  We works about 8 hours, unloading cars and trucks then packing pallets.  It was sweet to see the people of Omaha come together to build up supplies and stuff to help other people out!  Other than that, it took us about 3 hours to get to Dodge, in Fremonts area before it flooded to contact a referral, all the main roads were closed so we took county roads and it was lit.  Amber is doing well, she came to church and we plan on teaching her tonight and getting her set and ready to go!  Well hope everyone has a great week!
