This week has been so HYPE to start off, I stayed in Brookings for another transfer #6months and Brad is solid. So last monday, we were in Sioux Falls and that was fun, toasted miles and had a good time. We taught Brad the Plan of Salvation using a huge white board we found at the church and it was awesome. "Brad does all of this make sense" (hands go up in air) "its all clarified now" I love teaching the Plan of Happiness because its so awesome that we know whats going on after we die! Tuesday, today was a tough start. We were expecting a call from the ZLs about transfers and I thought for sure I was gone. The ZLs did call and... I stayed! Suprise!!! I was so excited I started running laps around the apartment and through the hallway! Watertown showed up shortly after and celebrated with us. We had a small dance party in the hallway of our complex. After our little party we went straight to work, we started trying people with interest and ended up getting a last min call to do service on the SDSU campus. We had a sweet dinner then Brad cancelled because he got stuck in Huron:( Wednesday, it was slow because transfers were going, but we still got out and worked. I got to meet my great great grandson who is being trained by Elder McDonald in Watertown! Hes super cool and from American Fork. We helped out with the ward service project and got a tour of a nature park. Thursday we had a Zoom call for all leadership in the mission, it was sweet, President got this transfer all lined up for everyone to have fun and be successful! Im hyped. The rest of the day was trying people and service, at the end of the night we taught Brad the Gospel of Jesus Christ using a wooden stair case, it was super Spiritual and we set him for baptism!!! Friday, we had a line up of appointment today, started with Terry, we went through the baptism interview questions and were able to figure out what we need to teach him next. Eric was interesting, he gave us a book about how the Apostacy never really happened and he wants pure evidence from other sources that the Book of Mormon is really true. He is freaking holding the truth in his hands he just wont listen! #stubborn We took a priest out on a team up and it was cool, we knocked some doors in a trailer park and taught Brad about the Word of Wisdom, I was able to have Ryan (adopted brother) call into the lesson and he bore his testimony of the Word of Widsom! It was so sweet! Brads wife also bore testimony and we ended the night on that awesome note. Saturday, tried a few people and did a little bit of weekly planning. We ended up going to Watertown for emergency exchanges but it was a miracle because right as they called our night was freed up and we were able to minister to the Watertown Elders! Sunday, Started off rough, some fiery darts were thrown around during ward council but Brad and his family came to church! After church we got hyped for Brads lesson, the Law of Chastity. We took our Bishop as a team up and it was sweet. He understood all the doctrine and is ready to change, we got somethings cleared up about the Word of Wisdom and we got the green light to dunk em! We finally finished weekly planning on Sunday.Im super hyped for the upcoming week, Brads baptism is set the for 3rd, the ward is super excited and things are freaking sweet. so the title came from one of Brads lessons, we eneded up giving both Brad and his wife blessings due to hard times (we punched satan in the face though) and we asked Brad if he needed a blessing of healing and he said "I dont need oil, im healthy" Then smiled and his wife shook her head and laughed. I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach Brad, Ive been able to watch the Gospel take action and change another life. Studding for Brads lessons have been a super spiritual experience as we search for answers to his questions and find new ways to teach the Doctrine of Christ.Funny quotesElder Bronson " I gotta give hamburger helper beef sometimes... cause then they would only be helper" " wow that was cheesy"Bro Copes son "do you cats scratch you?"
