June 24, 2019 Zone Council hype!

Hey yall so this week was hype!  It started with a Zoom call with all the leadership in the mission and how President Ence wants this transfer to go, its pretty cool to see all the behind the scenes work that goes into each transfer.  We drove to Marshall to do a baptism interview for someone they found like 3-4 weeks ago and holy cow was that guy prepared, it was awesome, since things are super busy they havent been able to teach him everything but I was able to teach a little in the interview and it was spiritual!  The next day we did exchanges with the Marshall Elders since we were already out there, I was with Elder Stevens, he has been on his mission for like a week, so it was super fun to get out and work!  Seems like yesterday I was a greenie not really knowing what to do, but most days I am the greenie lol.  We worked in Marshall for most the day then went back to Brookings and finished the day there right before driving to Sioux Falls for interviews.  We held a zone council which was super lit, all the DL and ZLs gave training's, the whole meeting went like 3 hours but it was so worth it, we got super hyped for the work and our zone unity is next level.  I gave a training on a talked called "one day" by Elder Eyring from Conference in April 2007. I related the talk to a car dealership, God loans us Ford Raptors and give us a owner's manual (Book of Mormon) and we have to take car if it and do our duties and we never know when he is going to call us and want his truck back. I got everyone to laugh and it was a good time. We drove back to Brookings and Marshall took off from there, and we went and taught Terry with the Elders Quorum president, we went in planning to teach about fasting, prayer and obedience to the commandments but our team up ended up teaching the Restoration since all the questions he was asking was directed towards that lesson.  Turns out thats what he needed so hopefully he will start coming to church!  Saturday we went hard, we car fasted and worked around our apartment, we tried to street contact and hit all the dots with-in a half mile radius and we got a lot done, or at least the west side done.  Sunday both Elder Bronson and I gave talks about gifts and talents, it was alright.  I enjoyed talking in this ward because we only had like 50-60 people in attendance so its much better.  We had dinner with our bishop and it was super fun, turns out he has this super ugly Toyota corolla 1994 hatch back, its a stick and a nasty gold color, i finally linked up who owned the car back when I was in Sioux Falls lol.  Well thats about it, nothing too exciting today, just had to take my chevy to the dealer since its have lighting problems.  love yall
