April 1, 2019 Toasting miles

Hey Y'all so this week literally flew by, we had exchanges with our zone leaders and I went with Elder Prisbee, it was sweet, I got rejected by a pizza delivery person but Prisbee got shut down by a couple old ladies lol. After that we had interviews and it was a party, we had lunch at a Chinese buffet for Elder Willoughbys birthday (my grandson) President Ence asked us to drive by a family we are trying a to teach and seek service opportunities since there trailer was flooding, so we did. Turns out there trailer is an island with a 30' dry spot of road. So we tried to go around the lake but couldn't so after driving on a dirt/mud road for 30 mins we decided we would be the little Malibu that could and drove through the 1-2 feet of water. We made it to the property and the pare its weren't home and shortly after they announced they are moving. So hopefully they move closer to Brookings!  Other than that we've been trying people and less actives. State Conference was awesome, half of it was rebuking the Stake for not doing missionary work, so we'll see what the members decide to do. We had a sweet miracle, we got 3 people to church along with a crazy recent convert! Something cool I study was actually the come follow me for this past week with Jesus feeding over 5 thousand people and afterwards instead of going into the city with the people, he goes up into the mountains and prays to our Father in Heaven, basically what I got out of this is even when we do awesome and amazing things we need to he humble so God can continue using us as tools in his hands!   Also that mountains is Gods country therefore we need to spend more time in Gods country. #Nebraskaisflat #loveyall
