Hey y'all so this week was sweet. It was transfers and I stayed with Elder Bronson in Brookings. The whole zone changed except most of my district. This week was weird knowing it was transfers and how fast they flew by, but we tried to stay busy. We had a handful of appointments but most of them fell though but we still got to go finding! We have been finding most of our luck by contacting people who showed intrest in the past and knocking around them! We have utilizing the YES list more and because of it we were able to give 2 blessings to both non members! One wants to meet us as well! Also this week we went to a booine town for a return appointment that fell though of course so we did some finding in a little town called Aurora... little town of less than 1000 people so you'd think people would be friendly and nice, we ended up bashing a old guy who was stuck on the bible being the only word of God, everytime I opened the Book of Mormon he would reach over and close it. Freaking loser, I ended up just walking off his porch Aurora needs a rebuking or a flood or something Haha. Sunday was great, we had a part member family show up and our Bishop finally got off a 3 week vacation, it was nice to talk to him and very caught up. I got to drive up to Watertown and do 2 baptism interviews! One lasted almost an hour, and I know the guy better than the elders that taught him now lol. He asked a question that was pretty funny, "Jim gets all serious..." so do the members in Utah still have multiple wifes...? I told him, last time I was in Utah that wasn't happening. So of course I had to crack the Ephrims rescue joke that I never though would happen "wanna know what's the worst thing about multiple wifes?... multiple mother in laws!" It was great. To wrap up the email the tornado sirens kept going off on Saturday, turns out a tornado was forming in the sky while we were at dinner, we couldn't see past the wall of grey clouds but it was sweet. Never touched down but came close! Love y'all!Elder PhelonPicsTracting in rainThe wallComing home from Aurora
