Whats going on?!?
First of all shout out to my Sis Makelle who just had a Birthday! Shes getting old so dont shout too loud;)Monday! So we got permission to play Volleyball as a zone... I played really agressive, but only hit 1 person in the face... Yes it was a sister... My bad... Anyways! we played for a few hours, it was good. We went to the ZLs place and hung out for a while then headed to dinner.Tuesday:Today was super slow, lots of driving, not a lot of luck, our car Carol the Corolla almost got stuck in the mud but luckly shes a Toyota, she crawled out on her own. Dinner was sweet, we got to walk though a gun closet! Guns, knifes, bullet proof vests, night vision gear, you name it, this guy had it! It was a taste of heaven in a small room!Wednesday:District meeting took up most of our day and it was super boring, we had cookies but the heater was cranked up for some werid reason... Sisters... so it was a swampy environment for most of the Elders... We hit up Rasing Canes for Lunch since a set of Elders were going home this next week, cool guys but time has come to depart. Dinner was good, a recent convert family, we played games and had a good family night, talking about tattoos and bud light haha, and also reading books with the little girls.Thursday:We had to run to the Mission office for an interview it was fun I got to hang out in the office, drink werid drinks the office Elders were making that were from Japan and we photo bombed some random district haha! We got a random phone call, a guy who was baptized when he was eight then left the church, he wanted to be reactivated! So we met with him and he is a cool guy, and wants to come back to church so bad he didn't know where to start but he got our number from family super cool! We taught a new investigator later that day who was a jerk to missionaries. He didn't want to listen to our lesson or anything and wanted the "deep" stuff, he was hard to work with but we were able to leave some commitments to find out if we will be coming back. Met with some less-active familys and finished our night on a good note.Friday:Our morning was taken by a conferance call, which was good, got to hear about whats going on thoughout the Mission. We did traning for about 2-3 hours which was slow and rough but we made did about half of it. We met our Chiro today, super fun lesson about Temples and Familys, he is progessing and is on track to go to the temple! He adjusted us and blew our minds by teaching us about how diets are key to healing our injurys and what not, we also learned about pressure points thoughout the body that reset the body to heal and overcome sickness. Crazy stuff, I can't explain all of it.Saturday:Well we thought we had a service project, and we showed up to nothing. They didn't follow up with the family that needed help so that was fun. We went got a pizza, and started finishing up our training but got roped into filling and preping the Font for a baptism for 3 hours! Watching water fill up is boring and a slow process but tottally worth it. Those Elders owe us lunch or something.Sunday:Fast Sunday... yay... It was a good meeting I bore my testimony for the first time in my life... It was a scary experiance but so worth it! I challenge all of you to bare your testimonys! I went up going to share some miracles we had that week, but the spirit had something else in mind and that was my conversion story about the Book of Mormon! It was super spirtual! I made a few people cry so that felt good haha, and being the person I am, I made some people laugh as well. That Sunday was packed with Spirtual experiences! Dinner was good, but we committed someone to quit smoking today! We showed up to take away any temptaions to help! We knocked on the door and her kids answered, they said mom was out back... We walked around the house to find her smoking:( She was super upset and was embarrassed. We let her finish then a few mins later she came out with her pack and a lighter and handed it over. It was hard to let go but we knew the Lord loved her and gave her the power to quit but she knew it would be rough. If we trust in the Lord and have faith, anything is possible.Well hopefully my email wasn't too boring! Have a great week!Pics:Disrict MeetingThe Gun Room...Carol gone muddin
