March 19, 2018 Highlight reel

Hey everyone!

So this one is the highlight email!  (since I dont have a lot of time)

This week has been slow but good!  This week, we had our first district meeting with our new members, it was good and spirtual.  afterwards we went to long john silvers which was good, unheathly but good.  As we were leaving we saw a person hanging out by the dumpster and I felt prompted to go talk to them.  We had 4 missionaires walk up to this person who is now hiding behind the dumpster, it was an old lady wearing a torns up hoddy, who was very shy and didn't want to talk to us, since all missionarys look like the FBI she told us she didn't want to talk to us, but we ended up buying her a lunch from wendys and giving her a passalong card and she was very grateful.  Always be in tune with the spirit!

  Next highlight, was doing service!  A family asked us to do an oil change on a mini van, so gladly I accepted the task, it was super fun getting under a car again!  (even though it was a dodge) haha, 

Last highlight!  Our ward pulled off this awesome event this past sunday called Linger Longer, they sent out hundreds of invites to less actives or investigators, and after the meetings, the ward had a potluck!  it was hosted by the ward mission leader and missionaires, it was super fun but as the feast started we got pulled aside for reassignment...  A member in the ward was in need of a blessing so we jumped on that and gave him a blessing!  We came back to the church and most everyone left who we were going to talk but lucky for us sisters missionaries are serving in our ward so it was some what missionary hosted haha.  It was a great event and bought tons of new people to church!
