March 26, 2018 Short and sweet... again!

Hey y'all so this email will be short and sweet like last week!

so the first of the week was slow, we got a referral and taught a new investigator!  That was super fun but also hard at the same time, this lady has never really had any religion or anything but hopefully we can make good progress with her!  later on the week we got called to go the hospitle to give a blessing up in Omaha, about 30 mins away but we had meetings this moring but we we able to go, so we drive up to Omaha, and the guy who called us told us he didn't need us anymore...  cool.  So we drove another half hour to Council Bluffs for our meetings then got a text asking where we were...  long story short, always know who your talking to on the phone.  So I had my first Bash session with an investigator, he kept bringing up random reasons on why our church isn't true and all this other stuff that doesn't mean anything so I learned you keep cool and go with the flow.  It was hard not to jump down this guys throat on why all this stuff isn't important but it was a good learning experiance.  Sunday we taught a super cool lesson with yo-yos!!!  so heres how it goes, the yo-yo is us, and the string is the 10 commandments and our hand is Heaven, some people thing the commandments restrict us from having fun but really if we keep those rules God gave us we can still have fun and still make it back to Heaven.  then we do a bunch of cool tricks with the yo-yos and read Mosiah 2:41  Well hope y'all had a great week!

PS our apartment got a sweet couch, it reclines and is leather, also has cup holders.  its great, also makes our apartment less echoy haha.
