Monday: Last Pday in Council Bluffs was sweet! We went up to Logan Iowa and hung out with a recent convert who had those bash soccer ball things, but we ended up just trying to wreck each other and it was a blast. We celeibrated a couple birthdays while we were up there as well! It was super fun and exciting! I also found out today that I was transferring and Elder Sandberg was training. We visited a member and ended up getting a ride home from them, well the guy driving missed the turn so he turned illegally (he was old) and jumped the curb in a dodge caravan, (minivan) and about 30 seconds later it felt like we were on a Nasa space shuttle with the engines roaring. The whole van was shaking and it was super loud, so he popped the tire and we barley made it to our apartment. So I changed a tire while Sandberg and the member watched me. It was good except for the crappy tools but oh well I got it changed out.
Tuesday: So Today we were suppose to go to the trail center with a few members but it turned out to be a 3.5 hour church history tour on a doughnut tire that I changed the night before. It was fun, learned a lot about the area but never went to the trail center... So I spent most of today packing and around 1 I had to take Sandberg to the mission office to go to the temple (part of training) and I went on exchanged with Elder Lee! He is a ZL in my zone and we lit up bellevue, we mostly visited members so I could say goodbye but we ended up in South Omaha, and we did some street contacting, so most of the people in South Omaha are Spanish, but turns out Lee knows enough to get by so that was fun haha We had a blast together.
Wednesday: Transfer day, We went to the mission office and I got to see some old companions and friends and was told to get in a Rav4 with some random elder and head north. Then I was told E Olsen (MTC comp) was going to follow me up, so we had 1 GPS and 1 sim card so that was fun trying to communicate... It was a 3 hour drive to the next transfer point, the other elder drove for maybe a half hour then found out I love driving so he immediately pulled over and switched me. It was a fun drive, our Tiwi wasn't working so well so it was a little faster than 3 hours hehe. My new comp is Elder Clark and I am in South Dakota Sioux Falls, and so far its been really nice, no killer humidity and not burning hot! I drive a 2017 Nissan Rouge and its named the Silver Bullet, its a sweet car but last week the last elders spilled milk in the back seat so it smells like rotten milk which really sucks. We are talking it to the dealer to be clean. But for most of the day was getting unpacked and visiting some members
Thursday: So our car was at the dealership all day getting cleaned so we were on foot everywhere we went, it was sweet being able to talk to everyone we saw! We even had people pulling over to talk to us! Elder Clark told me this is the most he's walked while being in Sioux falls haha. We talked to a guy who was in a gang and ended up leaving a Book of Mormon with him so that was pretty cool. Lots of walking and talking and it was lots of fun.
Friday: We got our car back and it still smells like rotten milk but not as bad. tried a few people today but all of them fell though. Most of our day was finding, so not much to report on
Saturday: We had service today and it was a place that fed the homeless, it was fun, we got free lunch out of it so that was a pro, met a few cool people, did a ton of service too. The rest of our day was teaching out progressing investigators and that was super fun, did some more street contacting and ended up talking to a bunch of guys from Africa who were drunk, so we gave them a picture of Jesus and left but we ended up walking past them again and they wanted to talk more, so we gave them another picture of Jesus, and one told us he was an artist and would paint a picture of Jesus to show us what he looked like. Then they told us how Africa was going to rise up and America was going down. So that was fun...
Sunday: our ward is pretty sweet, really small but everyone is really friendly. Most of our day was talking to people and walking but it was fun.
Well I hope everyone has a great week! Love ya
