Monday: Pday, pretty fun, spent most the day with the other elders hanging out, playing on a soaking wet church floor but it was still fun to watch Elder Olsen eat it into the wall a few times haha.
Tuesday: So we had our last interview with President Gardner today, he is leaving at the end of this month, im a little sad but it will be exciting to meet the new President of the best mission in the world! Got some pretty sweet news from president, but who knows what will happen since he is leaving. We also had district meeting and it was fun. So 5 out of the 6 Elders who came out with me are now in my zone so thats pretty sweet
Wednesday: We taught one of our progressing investigators and it went really well, taught everyone's fav lesson... Chastity... But it actually went super well! also we taught the word of wisdom and he just stopped smoking and drinking coffee! The Lord really does prepare people to meet us! We also watched the youth devotional by President Nelson and it was sweet! I cant go on the social media fast since we use it to communicate with investigators but I hope everyone else does!
Thursday: So for those who don't know... Today is my birthday and somehow the whole ward found out so yeah. Tons of texts and phone calls, it was nice but weird at the same time. Got a few letters and packages in the mail which was sweet, We went to lunch with a recent convert and had a sweet dinner, the members feeding us thought it was my first day in the mission instead of my birthday but they fed us some sweet turkey burgers then we did some service for them as well. We tired a part member family and we walked into there trailer and guns were everywhere... Shotguns, hand guns you name it he had it along with belts of shotgun shells. It was awesome but found out half of them were air rifles but some were real.
Friday: So today was lame, weekly sacking, I mean weekly planning, it took like all day so that was a real bummer, it was a nice day too but we had to get it done. We had a sweet dinner and did some finding later in the day
Saturday: Today we taught our other investigator and it was good, ended up doing service for her and cleaning her kitchen and it was fun. We did some more finding today but didn't have very much luck.
Sunday: So the youth got back from trek today and it was awesome to hear about there experiences while on it! Sure they didn't go 55 miles like some people... But they had a super good time! We ended up knocking a super rich part of our area and most people turned us away but it was still fun!
