June 18, 2018 Stinky Rouges and church attendance?

Hey everyone!  So this week has been weird... Feels like its flown by but at the same time its been dragging really bad?

Monday: So last Pday was good, we balled out, had the usually Pday and it was sweet.

Tuesday: So today we had our first officially "car fast" so we don't use the car from 10am-5pm and we street contact everywhere we go!  So we did just that and got 4 new gators by doing it!  It was sweet, we knocked down a couple 3 apartment buildings, taught one dude the restoration and place a couple 3 Book of Mormons.  It was sweet.
Wednesday:  District Meeting was today, it was fun mostly about role playing but we made it fun.  We did a role play were someone is the gator, the missionary and the Holy Spirit, I was the Holy Spirit and was suppose to tell the "missionary what to do or say.  I totally toasted this "gator" with the Book of Mormon and all the questions he threw at us.  It was a blast.  We had dinner at a place called the Royal Fork and the Forks weren't even fancy at all but the food was good.  4/5 Stars.  We got a ton of referrals from the Bishopric and it was sweet!   I also met one of the less-active we are working with today, he is like 6th cousins with Joseph Smith so that was pretty cool, he's like a Jack Mormon, he smokes and drinks, super cool guy, he told us he watches the missionaries backs since we're family and he'd fight whoever picked on us and he wouldn't have a problem going to jail for it again.  He also had a supercharged Honda Prelude and it was sick!  5 speed Manuel and it was clean!
Thursday:  So today was basically finding all day so not much
Friday:  We did service today by helping clean up a tree that fell over in a recent wind storm, it was fun I got to fix a chainsaw (it was approved I was fixing it not using it) So that took up our whole morning, its nice getting out and doing service.  The rest of our day was weekly planning and yeah that took forever.  We had a sweet lesson with our progressing gator and a sweet team up too!  We set her for baptism and she wasn't sure so our team up started spitting fire!  asking whats stopping her from following god and keep his commandments and all this stuff!  It was super spiritual and sweet.  Long story short shes set.
Saturday:  So we started knocking some more apartment buildings but they were cleaning the carpets so chemicals were in the air and it was hard to see so we ended up leaving.  We had dinner with our ZLs and Elder Aye Khi who is from Taiwan cooked some curry.  Super good and it was sweet, the member we ate with had these couches that lit up like my car back at home!   It was fun until I told one of the ZLs I wanted to be like a dog and just sleep all day, so they translated that to the spanish family and it came out to be "he wants to be a female dog and sleep all day"  But with different words...  that was pretty funny haha.  We got a referral from SLC and they totally forget to send us the apartment number, so we got into this locked building and ended up asking around for this dude, and eveually found him!  But he wasn't home, so we're trying again later!
Sunday:  our progressing investigator bailed on us again for church so we had to postpone his baptism, I was pretty pissed off, our Ward Mission Leader inst the best and yeah things are just great...  Dinner was good, we ate with a member family and this semi truck driver who was stopping in our area since he ran out of hours to drive.  He was a super cool guy, he came to church with us and then to dinner, turns out he's been hit by a truck going about 75MPH, he was trying to help a lady broken down on the side of the road with his dog but got hit and flew 150 feet in the area and got 3 concussions but no broken bones.  He was in the hospital for 8 weeks in the 7th week his wife came in with that same dog that was in the accident and his brain just clicked when that dog came back.  It was a miracle that he was alive, he shared tons of miracles and it was sweet!
Well hope everyone has a good week!
